Using the handout on tips for Writing a Summary, write a summary of an assigned editorial, short essay, or other text assigned in class.

Spring 2004 classes should use the Plain Dealer (The Economy Today) editorial by Jerry Heaster that was used in class for our in class structural analysis discussion:

"Environmental activist’ view of blackout is blindly narrow"

(The summary should be typed and double spaced. After it is graded, you should correct and revise it again. It may be submitted one time for an improved grade before placing in your portfolio notebook.)
